Dear Families and Friends,
I have greatly enjoyed the opportunity of being your child’s pediatrician. It is with heavy heart that I write to tell you that I will be leaving Meridian Pediatrics as of Feb. 7, 2019. I have accepted a position at Family Medicine Residency of Idaho where I will be able to continue to see patients as well as teach younger doctors who are still in training. I feel that I have much to share with these young physicians (much of it taught to me by many of you!), just as older physicians mentored me as I entered the world of pediatrics. In this way, I can contribute to the future of children’s health care in our beautiful state of Idaho. This new position will also allow me to cut back my hours by a small amount; hopefully, allowing me to conserve enough energy to practice several years into the future.
My patients are welcome to follow me to Family Medicine Residency of Idaho, Meridian Clinic, 2275 S. Eagle Road, Suite 120, Meridian, ID 83642; phone number 208-514-2500. (I would be honored should you choose to do so). Should you prefer to remain at Meridian Pediatrics, the remaining providers in my practice have agreed to assume care of my patients upon my departure. Please feel confident in my recommendation of the other providers at Meridian Pediatrics; you would be in excellent hands. If you choose to remain at Meridian Pediatrics, there is no need to transfer records or make any notification, as we maintain medical records as a group. If you have questions regarding the selection of your new pediatrician, please see our provider’s biographies on our website at www.MeridianPediatrics.com or contact our office. If you prefer to transfer care and follow me to my new office, our staff at Meridian Pediatrics will be able to assist you in transferring medical records to that location, with your consent.
I wish you the very best of health and good fortune in the future and I will always be grateful for you allowing me, as a pediatrician, to have been part of your family’s lives.
V. Susan Bradford, MD.
